UPDATE – Plans for School, Nov 30th-Dec 4th

November 25, 2020

Good afternoon,

With COVID cases increasing in Benton, Lane and Linn counties over the past three weeks, Monroe SD will be modifying our instructional schedule for the week of November 30th through December 4th following the holiday weekend.

Our K-3 hybrid cohorts will continue as normally scheduled for the week of November 30th through December 4th.  While we will continue to closely screen and monitor students as they come in, please remember to keep your child home if they have any COVID-related symptoms.

There will be no in-person instruction for students in grades 4-12 on either campus for the week of November 30th through December 4th.  Limited in-person instruction for all 4-12th grade groups, including special education, English learners, career-technical education, and others will occur virtually for the week of November 30th through December 4th.

Our food service program will continue to run next week as normal.

It is our goal to keep our staff, students, and community safe and to keep our schools as open as we can during this time by limiting the potential spread of COVID.  We are planning to resume limited in-person instruction on December 7th.  Please contact your student’s teacher or building principal if you have any questions.

Thank you and have a safe and restful holiday weekend.
