Monroe High School Update (08/24/22)

August 24, 2022

Dear students, parents, and staff,

The 2022-2023 school year will be starting soon. We look forward to welcoming students and staff back in the building. As always, the fall is a busy time. Here are a few reminders as we edge towards the start of the school year.

Back to School

If you have not already done so, please make sure to register through our online process. Registar is the online system and can be accessed at If you have any questions or need your login information, please call the high school office at 541-847-5161. There are no fees for registration.

The high school does not require many school supplies. It is recommended to have two or three, 3-ringed binders, notebook paper, and writing utensils. We try to supply the essential learning items needed.

The first day of school begins at 8:00am on September 7th for all grades 9-12. Each student will receive a schedule when they arrive. For incoming freshmen or students new to Monroe High School, we offer and highly recommend attending orientation day September 2nd. This is a great time to meet teachers, bring items needed for the first day of school, and be familiar with the bell schedule. Orientation begins at 8:00am in the high school commons.

Fall practices have begun. It is not too late to join a team. For more information with Volleyball, Football, Cross-Country, or sideline cheer, please call the high school office and we are happy to help get you started. Fall sports schedules are available in the office or online at

Booster Club

Dragon Pride, our booster club, is an active group that does tremendous things for our student athletes. If you are looking for ways to get involved, please contact Jami Vroman in the high school office or visit the school website for more details. Currently, Dragon Pride is preparing for fall sports and the annual auction. The organization welcomes volunteers who are willing to lend a hand.
