Monroe High School Update (12/15/22)

December 15, 2022

Dear students, parents, and staff,

Winter break is days away. Before students and staff take a much needed break, there are a few things to keep in mind.

Winter Break

Break begins next week. This is a time for family, friends, and relaxation. However, some students may be able to take advantage of this down time. With the cold and flu season upon us, some students have had extended absences. The break is a great time to get caught up with anything that was missed. Please speak directly to teachers about any requirements or options they may have for you or your child.

Online classes will be active and available to any student who is currently enrolled in a course. This can be a nice time to work ahead or complete an online class.

Giving Tree

A quick thank you to all who participated in this year’s Christmas Giving Tree. This is the 2nd year we have done this at the high school and we are grateful for all who helped support our students.

Winter sports are off to a great start. Please check the OSAA website at to view the complete and up to date schedules or stop by the high school office for a paper version. Please come out and support the teams. There are a number of events going on over break.
