Monroe High School Update (5/5/25)

May 5, 2025

Parents, students, and staff:

With just over a month left in the school year, many things are happening within the district. Here are a few important dates and items to keep in mind.

Summative Assessments

May is summative testing time. The high school will be administering the Smarter Balanced Assessment May 19th – 23rd. This is a no risk assessment and shortened exam, for our 11th grade students, that helps provide data for the school. The test results are used for many positive things. Please see the Oregon.gov website for more detailed testing information or call the high school office.

Yearbooks are available to order until May 26th. The process is completed online by following these steps:

Senior Info.

Graduation is one month away. There are many moving parts towards wrapping up the school year and ushering seniors on to their next chapter in life. Please contact the high school office if you have any questions as we inch closer to graduation.

If you are concerned about your child’s progress towards graduation, please let us know. We have sent home multiple letters for notification and can help get you access to your child’s grades, if needed. We would be happy to meet and make sure we have a grad plan in place as well.
